Kellie M Cox has worked in the area of psychology for the last two decades giving her an insight and fascination for human behaviour which she draws on to create complex characters.

Writing about place, Kellie’s stories traverse the globe, taking readers to cities they dream to visit from Paris, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Bora Bora and even the Mekong Delta. Her own travel stories forming much of the inspiration for the settings and colourful characters.

Kellie’s short stories have won first place in the Gladstone Area Writers Group 2022, and longlisted for Minds Shine Bright Short Story Competition 2023. Her short stories can be found in anthologies for the Rainforest Writers Retreat, Got Game? 2023 and Gold Coast Writers’ Association 2019.

She has published five books with Strong Female Protagonists and is an active member of ASA, QWC, Sisters in Crime, Helensvale Writers Group and GCWA as well as being a graduate of Fiona McIntosh’s Masterclass for Commercial Fiction.

When not writing or seeing clients in private practice, Kellie can be found on the beaches of the Gold Coast flooding her social media with photos of her gorgeous dogs.
